“ Went for a celebratory lunch with my sister and some friends while visiting. Had to put a deposit down to make the reservation which goes toward the bill. Good service, wonderful meals and beautiful view. A bit noisy when full because of the high ceilings but otherwise a nice ambience. Nice wine selection from the region. Would recommend the gnocchi, chicken piccata and brisket. The roquette and Parmesan salad was also nice. Enjoyed the tiramisu for dessert. ”
“ Went here for a spontaneous lunch date with my husband and was so impressed. The view is to die for, food was amazing and they have a decent wine list to choose from. Staff is attentive but not overly interfering. Love the fact that you can just sit and enjoy the vibe, eat your meal and not be disturbed by staff asking for feedback mid meal. Definitely priced on the dearer side but so worth it. ”

“ Thank you to all the staff who helped make my husband’s 40th birthday lunch special. We had a large group of 30 guests and each one were impressed with service, food and organisation and atmosphere! We couldn’t have chosen a better location! The view of the mountains were spectacular and created a really memorable event! The mountains gave the perfect backdrop for incredible family photos! Vinay was especially helpful answering all my questions and his communication was exceptional! All staff must take pride in what they do to achieve such an amazing experience for all of us to enjoy. I highly recommend The Boiler house to anyone who enjoys fine dining at an affordable price. We had the banquet option and I was so impressed with the proportion and presentation of each meal. Be ensure to visit when you are hungry!!! I look forward to visiting here again, hopefully in the near future! ”
“ We recently visited Boiler House Restaurant at Blue Mountains, drawn in by its beautiful views and relaxing atmosphere. We were especially happy that our request for a window seat was kindly granted, making the experience feel even more special at first. We arrived around 1:30 PM, looking forward to a nice meal after a long drive. While the food was genuinely delicious and the staff were friendly, we unfortunately left feeling more disappointed than satisfied. It took until 2:50 PM for our main dishes to arrive almost an hour and a half later. Not long after we started eating, staff were already calling for last orders as the kitchen was closing, and most of the other diners had left. We felt rushed to finish, which really took away from what should have been a relaxed meal. Adding to that feeling, we overheard another guest mention they had also been waiting for over an hour. At the same time, we noticed some guests who arrived after us being served their food much quicker. We’re not sure how the system works, but it definitely left us wondering. That said, we really appreciated the quality of the food and the friendliness of the team. We just feel there’s room to improve service flow and timing. Especially for a destination like Blue Mountains, where many guests travel far to visit, maintaining a smooth and fair dining experience is important. It would really help ensure people leave with happy memories rather than quiet disappointment. ”
“ We had a wonderful lunch highly authentic Italian food with sea food. We were staying at Llianfell which is under the same umbrella as Hydro Majistic I would make the trip from Sydney again to have the sea food soup my wife had the lamb shanks and was extremely pleased we both had white wine with our meals the service was great atmosphere brilliant and the waiter was quick and attentive. It is fairly priced highly recommend ”
